24 x “TITAN” cranes of a SWL of 2-3 tons each, of which 15 are operational.
1 x heavy lift fixed crane derrick is fitted at Berth 4. Its SWL is 35 tons. The crane can only move back and forth with a very slow discharging speed estimated at lifting every 20 minutes.
Berth 9 grain in bulk is discharged by suction by MIDEMA. |

The storage capacity is about 3500 TEUS stacked three high. Discharging is performed by ship’s gear as there is no gantry crane. Containers are hauled to the yard by means of trailers.
